The book is a great read!! Radhika has been able to paint the place in our minds. I am an avid book reader, so my perception is as such. My husband who hardly reads books, read it, even when he was eating...that is her true victory. Hoping for more books from her.

Contrived Connections
Once we start reading the book we don't feel like keeping it down. All the ten stories are of different types with varied emotions. It is quite evident that the author is well versed in vocabulary - the words and the expressions used in these stories used show this. It is not always easy to express in words what we have in our mind this part - the author has done very well. Wishing the author all the best.

A Canopy of Carnations
Author has chosen an apt title for her book as carnation(flower) symbolize emotions like love, affection regret etc. Her short stories are really touching and kindles our emotions . The style of writing was not verbose and she had explained her stories in a lucid way. I wish she hones her skills in writing and become a great author .

MY STORY
Radhika, a doctorate in Mathematics discovered her love for story writing at a very early age. Having done her schooling at St.Joseph’s Convent, Coonoor and graduation in Mathematics from Providence College for Women she continued to pursue studying Mathematics in her post graduate studies encouraged by the gold medal she received for her University rank. After completing her post graduation from Madras Christian College, Chennai and her M.Phil she went on to teach Mathematics for engineering students. She obtained her M.S., in Education and PhD in Mathematics and continues to quench her thirst for teaching. After a decade of working at some of the best engineering colleges in Chennai she tutors students in Science and Mathematics at her institute in Chennai.
Though a Mathematician by profession, being an avid reader of English novels and classical English Literature her world revolves around poetry and stories that tend to touch emotions of people. Often her creations talk about the lives of ordinary people and touches little incidents in their lives. Born in the picturesque town of Coonoor in the Nilgiris, the scenic panorama of mist covered mountains and petals kissed with dew drops, nature bestowed her with the circumstances to create an aura of nostalgia interwoven with sprinklings of drama, comedy, laughter, hatred, jealousy, love, hope and other sentiments which dominate human life. She has received various accolades for her stories including a gold medal at All India Level.
